Garuda Indonesia mengadakan Penerbangan Kartini khusus untuk merayakan Hari Kartini pada 21 April.

Penerbangan GA 204 Kartini yang berangkat dari Jakarta ke Yogyakarta menampilkan pilot, awak kabin dan awak darat yang semuanya adalah karyawan perempuan Garuda Indonesia. Di antara mereka adalah kapten Ida Fiqriah, yang merupakan pilot wanita pertama yang menjadi carrier, co-pilot Melinda, manajer layanan penerbangan Evi Soenarjono dan insinyur rilis pesawat Pita Hadi Sriwahyuni dan Dessy Purnamasari.

Menurut siaran pers, Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Susi Pudjiastuti adalah salah satu penumpang dalam penerbangan, bersama dua eksekutif wanita maskapai penerbangan nasional, Direktur Jenderal dan Sumber Daya Manusia, Sari Suharso dan Direktur Pemasaran Domestik Nina Sulistyowati, serta beberapa lainnya manajer senior perusahaan milik negara.

“Salut buat Garuda Indonesia yang telah mengadakan penerbangan khusus ini. Keterlibatan pilot perempuan, awak kabin dan awak darat Itu membuktikan perempuan mampu bekerja di tengah dunia yang sarat dengan perkembangan teknologi dan tantangan dinamika karir yang ada," kata Susi.

Guru menjadi tersangka kasus pelecehan anak karena menampar siswa

Seorang guru sekolah menengah kejuruan di Purwokerto, Banyumas, Jawa Tengah, menghadapi tuduhan pelecehan anak setelah video dirinya menampar sembilan muridnya menjadi viral dimedia sosial.

Dalam video tersebut, Lukman Septiadi, 27, dalam video yang ditampilkan sedang membelai pipi seorang siswa sebelum menamparnya.

Polisi Banyumas telah menyebut Lukman sebagai tersangka dalam kasus tersebut, dan menuntutnya dengan kekerasan anak seperti yang diatur dalam Pasal 80 UU Perlindungan Anak tahun 2002. Artikel itu membawa hukuman maksimal 3,5 tahun penjara.

Para siswa dilaporkan menderita luka pada rahang mereka dan mengeluh sering mengalami sakit kepala.

Sebelum pergi ke kantor Polisi Banyumas, Lukman mengunggah video dirinya yang membenarkan tindakannya di hadapan para siswa yang diserang.
“Ya, itu aku. Saya memukul mereka, dan semua korban ada di sini, ”katanya, meminta orang yang merekam video itu untuk menunjukkan wajah masing-masing korban.

"saya tahu. Saya mengerti. Saya melakukan itu semua dengan suatu tujuan. Saya tidak melakukannya jika tanpa alasan dan saya tidak melakukannya tanpa tujuan, ”katanya dalam video.

Denny mengatakan para penyidik juga bertanya tentang saksi yang hadir ketika puisi itu dibacakan.

“Kami melihat ada [artis] Titiek Puspa, Menteri Kelautan dan Perikanan Susi Pudjiastuti, dan beberapa selebritis lainnya [yang hadir di acara tersebut].”

Denny mengatakan, bukti kejahatan itu adalah rekaman video viral dari Sukmawati yang membacakan puisi itu, yang diunggah oleh panitia ke internet.

Pada Jumat siang, ratusan demonstran menggelar unjuk rasa menentang Sukmawati di Jakarta Pusat. You may have heard that you only should wear your watch on your left hand, however this is completely wrong. Wear it on whatever wrist you want it on. It doesn’t matter, it’s completely up to you. But, a rule of thumb is to wear it opposite of your prominent hand (wear it on the left, if you’re a righty and vice versa).

Don’t wear a watch that looks like it’s about to fall off your wrist. It just makes you look like a amateur who just bought a watch and didn’t know you had to get it properly fitted. That’s why I love leather band watches so much because they’re adjustable, if you end up getting a metal bracelet, you need to go to some sort of jewelry shop where they are going to properly fit it on your wrist.

5.GET THE RIGHT SIZE

A couple years ago they was this horrible trend of oversized watches. Just like clothing, you want your watch to fit you right.

Things like bacteria, sweat, and other foot problems or injuries can cause your shoes to smell. Make them last longer and stay fresh with these home remedies.


-BAKING SODA
 A smelly shoe or sneaker is no match for the power of baking soda. Liberally sprinkle soda in the offending loafer or lace-up and let it sit overnight. Dump out the powder in the morning. (Be careful when using baking soda with leather shoes, however; repeated applications can dry them out.) You can also make your own reusable “odor eaters” by filling the toes of old socks with 2 tablespoons baking soda and tying them up in a knot. Stuff the socks into each shoe at night before retiring. Remove the socks in the morning and breathe easier.


-BLACK TEA
Black tea contains tannins, which will work to kill the bacteria that builds up in your shoes and helps to eliminate the smell. Put the tea bag in boiling water for 2-3 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let it cool. Place it in your shoe for about an hour. After you remove it, clean up any excess liquid left on the shoe.

-BABY POWDER
Using baby powder is a precautionary step that you can take before putting your shoes on to keep them from smelling. If you find that you are prone to having stinky shoes, rub baby powder on your feet before slipping them on.

3 SHOE HACKS TO CLEAN YOUR SHOES!

We expect our shoes to get worn out over time, but we forget that they also get dirty. But no worries here are 3 shoe hacks that you should try at home!


1. Toothpaste And Water

• Using a new toothbrush, squeeze whatever toothpaste you keep on hand onto the toothbrush.
• Wet the toothbrush, then start scrubbing the dirty part of the shoe.
• Once it is sufficiently scrubbed, wipe off the shoe with a wet cloth.

2. Lemon Juice And Baking Soda

• Dip a toothbrush into lemon juice, then dip it into baking soda.
• Scrub the dirty shoe with the toothbrush.
• Once it’s scrubbed, wipe off the shoe with a wet cloth.

3. Hair Conditioner

• Squirt whatever hair conditioner you have on hand onto your shoe.
• Use a rough sponge to rub the conditioner into the rubber.

The Little America Backpack has become a bit of a classic lately and for good reason. It combines space, function and style all in one comfortable backpack.
Of course there are a few downsides that I will go into in the review, but for the most part it's a great backpack as a day pack for travel, school or work.​

Lots Of Space & Protects Your Laptop Too

The Little America is well designed and has loads of space on the inside to carry almost anything you need in any given day (books, folders, shoes, travel gear, cameras etc). It is rated at 25L so is a decent sized backpack! It also comes with a laptop sleeve, that is certainly beyond what most manufacturers will provide, let me explain, not only is it padded and fleece lined (yes, fleece for your laptop!), but it is also elevated from the bottom of the bag so it saves you damaging your laptop if you drop it (or just put it down hard).​ I have always hated that "thud" when I put my bag on the ground, knowing it is my computer taking a beating! Your laptop also fits snuggly down the back of the pack so does not interfere with your everyday use of it, or putting other big things inside. This pack can handle a 15 inch laptop comfortably.

Although the Little America Backpack does not come with a huge amount of pockets, the front pocket is again super well designed. It has a zipper, to keep things secure, but it is also hidden away below a flap with buckles that "appear" to be the way to open it. So, I guess you could say it is a bit of a decoy for thieves! And there is a handy earphone hole which leads to the phone pocket on the inside. Now you can safely store your phone and still listen to music on the go!

All in all this is a well designed backpack that will suit those who like a mix of style and function in their pack. Sure, there are a few things missing, but rarely do you get it all in one bag.

Bad Habits You Should Avoid When Driving Automatic Vehicles

1.DON’T CRUISE ON NEUTRAL

Many people say that if you’re going down a hill, you should put your car in neutral. That doesn’t make sense to me. Most hills are no more than a half-mile long. How much gas could you really be saving? Secondly, what if you had to pick up speed, that’s an extra half-second you need to switch gears. In addition, you lose control of your car. The only function that’s available is the brake. How good is that when you have a semi-truck coming up at a 100 miles an hour behind you and you need to speed up. Especially, if your panicking, your going to be stepping on the gas and nothing is going to happen.

2.DON’T SWITCH TO “DRIVE” ON “REVERSE”

There are many cases when people are reversing and then they put it on drive immediately while they are backing out. Everyone has been a victim to it but the only thing you are doing is messing up the transmission. If you are in a hurry, take the extra second to come to a complete stop and switch gears. The last thing you want to be doing is to replace a transmission.

3.NOT PUTTING THE EMERGENCY BRAKE ON

When you put your car in park, that doesn’t mean your car is going no where. When you put your car on park, there is a little hook that engages when you put it on park.

But any little tap or bump can break this hook and your car could rolling, especially if you are on a hill. Anywhere there is a small incline, just engage the emergency brake, it’s extra assurance.

4.SWITCHING TO NEUTRAL AT A STOP

Many people believe that switching to neutral at a stop will save you gas. This is completely wrong. In reality, shifting to neutral and then to drive puts more of a strain on your transmission rather just holding your brake. This is true for a manual car, because you don’t wear out the clutch, however this does not apply to automatic vehicles.

1.DROPBOX

You cannot have a phone and not have Dropbox, it should be the first app you download. It helps you synchronize all of your files, folders, pictures, and videos. I know there are apps like Google Drive, however I do believe that Dropbox is the best cloud based system.

2.GOOGLE PHOTOS

You’re getting unlimited storage for your pictures and videos. On top of that, you’re getting the amazing features that Google Photos offer you can’t compare to anything else. It’s completely free and everything is unlimited. The only downside is, if you film 4k video on your phone, it will degrade the quality to 1080p. However, if you want to upload in 4k, then your storage will be limited.

3.NOTETAKING (APPLE AND GOOGLE KEEP)

This all comes down to preference. They are both great apps, and it’s hard to pick one. However, I might have to give it to Google Keep, because I like the way it organizes things better. They both have very similar features, and in the end of the day, it’s what you would rather use. You can’t go wrong with either one.

4.PROCAM

We all take pictures and videos, and I feel that the camera app that comes with the phone is very limited. ProCam opens that up for you. You can mess with the ISO, Exposure, White Balance,  it’s like having a real camera with you at all times. You can customize the camera before you take the picture and have it the way you want it. Unfortunately, this app is not free, it costs about $5, however with the features that come with it, ProCam is totally worth it. You can even change the resolution within the app from 4k to 720p instead of going to setting and keep messing with the quality.

1.DRIVING ON EMPTY

One of the things that happens when you drive your car on “Empty” is condensation. It builds up in the gas tank, therefore water gets into the gas tank which then travels to the engine and we all know that water messes up the engine. This also applies for people who live in humid places, where dirt builds up and can also ruin your engine. In conclusion, always try to fill up when you have about a quarter left in the tank.

Always be aware of your surroundings so you don’t have to break for no purpose. Not only is this dangerous to you but also to the people around you. In addition, you’re ruining your brake pads and rotors. You’re just wasting them.

3.HEARING WEIRD SOUNDS AND NOT DOING ANYTHING ABOUT IT

A lot of inexperienced drivers will hear weird sounds while driving and completely ignore it. Anything that sounds out of place, probably is. Whenever you hear something wrong, take it to the dealer or the mechanic. Don’t ignore it, becuase a small problem can turn into something big if you don’t do something about it.

4.GETTING TOO EXCITED WHEN YOU SEE A GREEN LIGHT

This happens to a lot of people. Whenever they see the green light, it’s just petal to the metal. Of course, if you have a performance car, it’s cool to do a couple of times. However, you should never do this on a consistent basis. You’re going to be at the gas station more than you’re going to be on the road. Not only that, you can also ruin your engine. 5.NOT CHECKING YOUR TIRE PRESSURE

You should do this at least once a month. In newer cars, you are able to see it just from you dashboard. If not, there are little monitors you can buy that will do it for you. It’s a small investment that will be so worth it in the long run with gas. Having low tire pressure can be a hazard as well, you’re car isn’t functioning at full potential.
